Avoid Penalties and Surcharges
All clients are subject to the many forces that affect their natural gas
usage. For customers in Ontario many of the factors that affect their
natural gas usage are out of their control. When clients use more gas
than they have contracted for they may be subject to expensive penalties
from the utility that has loaned them the gas. We provide proactive
management of your accounts usage and prescribe the procurement of your gas
shortage at the most economically favorable time.
Establish budgets and performance metrics
Part of any good energy management program is providing budget target
and actual values and metrics to measure performance over the year.
CESi actively works with our clients to provide this information monthly in
a concise and readable report format. Year end balance and budget
projections are provided to allow the client to look ahead at their end of
contract position and help make proactive decisions.
Heating and Production Profiles
Heating profiles are created and matched to current weather trends to
determine possible variances to the beginning of contract assumptions.
For clients that use Natural Gas in their production process we work to
determine additional needs generated by extra production shifts, and
shutdowns to allow the client to be more proactive in balancing their
